In the month of July, I met this amazing young man named Anthony chiutsi. The guy came on a holiday in our neighborhood. He lives in the country side of Malawi in a district called nkhotakota. We started out on a very good note and I slowly became obsessed with this young man since he was so warm in everything. A few weeks in friendship, he requested me to be helping him with some school stuff (kind of like part time tutoring) to which I gladly agreed. Behind he already had someone he wanted him to be his serious tutor and this wasn’t to my knowledge. A few days after the request, I started tutoring this guy but after a few days his behavior was turning strange. The story behind me was like the guy who he wanted to be his serious tutor was now available for him so he didn’t know how to tell me that he didn’t want to be tutored by me anymore. Surprised by his behavior, I asked and he explained it to me and I was furious, felt betrayed and worthless. I then said to myself its okay let me just be friends with him. The man though wasn’t even ready for friendship anymore with me. His behavior started to get even more suspectful( if you can resonate with this word well). The thing was the boy wanted both tutoring and friendship from this guy and he was focusing all his energy on him now. Double chance for this tutor. Now I have decided to to tell him that it’s okay the little friendship we had is over he can focus on this one man he likes the most. I have been feeling worthless and drained. This is a true story and it made me think that what we love don’t always love us back
